Overview

The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company’s social media strategy to increase brand awareness, enhance marketing efforts, and drive engagement across all digital platforms. This role involves content creation, analytics tracking, community management, and staying up to date with the latest social trends.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals.
• Identify target audiences and tailor content to platform-specific needs.
• Plan and manage social media calendars, campaigns, and posting schedules.

2. Content Creation

• Create, edit, and publish engaging content (text, images, videos, stories, reels, etc.).
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to ensure cohesive branding.
• Write compelling captions, headlines, and calls to action.

3. Community Management

• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across platforms.
• Foster positive interactions, maintain brand tone, and manage customer inquiries.
• Engage with influencers, partners, and relevant communities.

4. Analytics & Reporting

• Track KPIs such as reach, engagement, growth, and conversions.
• Prepare regular performance reports with insights and recommendations.
• Use data to optimize strategies and improve future campaigns.

5. Platform Management

• Oversee company presence on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, Pinterest, etc.
• Manage hashtags, trends, SEO for social content, and platform-specific features.
• Stay informed on algorithm updates and best practices.

6. Paid Advertising (Optional depending on role)

• Create and manage paid social ad campaigns.
• Optimize targeting, budgets, and creatives for maximum ROI.
