An opportunity is available for a Sign Language Interpreter to support K-12 students in an educational setting located in Topeka, KS. This contract position is set for the upcoming school year and involves facilitating effective communication for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and expressive sign language interpretation during classroom instruction and school activities.
• Support students by interpreting lectures, discussions, and educational content to ensure full participation.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with strong interpreting skills.
