Job Details Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations including A/R, A/P, payroll, cash flow, expense tracking, tax filings, and internal controls
- Enhance month-end close processes: journal entries, accruals, prepaids, fixed asset management, allocations, and balance sheet reconciliations across - multiple divisions
- Analyze complex transactions, apply GAAP standards, and clearly communicate findings to stakeholders
- Support cost accounting efforts and inventory counts
- Manage timely compliance with multi-state tax filings (sales/use, property, income)
- Assist with financial and regulatory audits
- Conduct technical accounting research and help maintain accounting policies and systems
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and GAAP
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Identify and improve inefficient processes, driving automation and consistency
- Take on special accounting and finance projects as needed
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Problem-solver with a proactive mindset
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills across departments
- Detail-oriented with a focus on broader business impact
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- Experience with ERP systems
