Job Description
SCHOOL BUS DRIVER (All 5 Boroughs of NYC)
Starting Pay: $24.45/hr.
JOB DUTIES:
• Transport students to and from school and school-related activities
• Ensure safe boarding, seating, and exiting of students
• Maintain order and safety on the bus
• Collaborate with bus attendants and school staff
• Follow all traffic laws and school transportation regulations
• Report incidents, accidents, or behavioral issues as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with student and passenger endorsements
• Ability to read and understand school transportation rules and regulations
• Completion of NYCSBUS training program and driving test
• Passing score on written exam covering school bus laws and regulations
• Red Cross First Aid Certification
• Strong communication skills and patience
• Demonstrate dedication, integrity, and teamwork
