The Classes: The OFJCC is seeking experienced yoga instructors, especially those specializing in Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga. The Perks: Free membership at our award-winning fitness center Unlimited access to our Recovery Studio - a whole suite of advanced health and wellness therapies selected from the best in fitness, spa, sports and medical science to help you feel better, move better and sleep better Employee discounts on personal training and other services Fun, motivating workplace The Core Duties: Lead safe, motivating group yoga classes in accordance with OFJCC policies and procedure Provide appropriate modifications and progressions for a wide range of fitness levels Deliver excellent and courteous customer service to members Lead classes with clear and concise instruction, easy for the participants to follow Before and after each instructed class, ensure that the Yoga studio is well maintained and adequately equipped and organized Maintain active certification in a recognized certifying organization, such as the Yoga Alliance Stay up to date on current trends in Yoga classes Promote the group fitness schedule by encouraging class participants to try other fitness classes Communicate with Group Exercise Manager on member feedback, equipment needs and operational status, scheduling, and subbing The Essentials: Experienced Instructor with RYT 200 or RYT 500 certification Confident in your professionalism and a passion to motivate others Current CPR/AED certification Working knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology and training principles Excellent communication skills Extensive knowledge of classes being taught Collaborative and a flexible leader in and out of the studio Demonstrate a commitment to professionalism through ongoing education, maintaining quality standards, and continual evaluation #J-18808-Ljbffr Paloaltojcc
