Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled X-Ray Technician to join our medical imaging team. The successful candidate will operate radiographic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images, assist physicians in patient care, and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray equipment.
• Prepare and position patients correctly to obtain clear and accurate images.
• Review images for quality and clarity and repeat procedures if necessary.
• Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions or issues.
• Follow radiation safety procedures to protect patients and staff.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during imaging procedures.
• Educate patients about the imaging process and address any concerns.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program.
• Valid state license or certification as an X-Ray Technician.
• Proven experience in radiographic imaging and patient care.
• Knowledge of radiation safety standards and protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with digital imaging systems and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
• Additional certifications in advanced imaging techniques or modalities.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Certifications

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or equivalent.
• PR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
