Job Description

At gadhouse we're looking for a Web Developer to join our team.

1. Web Development Expertise: You have a strong grasp and understanding of the WordPress theme structure, template hierarchy, block editor, template tags, custom post meta, internationalization, and data escaping/sanitization.
2. Web Analytics Knowledge: You have experience working with Google Analytics (GA), Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to set up tracking, analyze web performance, and generate actionable insights.
3. SEO Proficiency: You understand key SEO principles and have experience optimizing websites for better search engine performance, including on-page SEO techniques, keyword research, and improving page speed.
4. Server-Side Knowledge: Strong familiarity with web server technologies such as Linux, MariaDB/MySQL, Nginx/Apache, PHP, Redis, Varnish, Memcached, etc., allowing you to manage server configurations and optimize for performance.
5. Problem Solving & Diagnostics: You are proficient at troubleshooting and resolving application issues, providing diagnostic and analytical support. You can identify and fix performance bottlenecks and improve website efficiency.
6. WooCommerce Experience: You are familiar with the WooCommerce ecosystem and understand how to build and manage eCommerce websites using WooCommerce on WordPress.
7. Collaboration & Communication: You are highly skilled at communicating frequently and effectively through project management tools such as Slack. You document and share your work clearly, ensuring seamless collaboration with other team members.
