About the Job Graduate Instructors and TAs are needed to teach clinical, skills labs, and didactic courses in the undergraduate Nursing program at the University of Minnesota (Rochester and/or Twin Cities sites). They will collaborate with faculty at both sites, preparing educational materials, facilitating student learning in various environments, evaluating students, and other related responsibilities. Total hours: Ranges from 15% (6 hours/week) to 50% (20 hours/week) or more, based on needs. Program Description The School of Nursing, a land grant university and top research institution, organizes its programs into thematic cooperatives focusing on health care themes like Adult and Gerontological Health, Child and Family Health, and Population Health and Systems. This structure promotes integration of research, education, and practice across campuses. Qualifications Must be a graduate student enrolled in coursework at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing or related programs during the academic year. Must be a licensed RN. Residency in Minnesota is required unless exceptions are approved. About the Department Established in 1909, the University of Minnesota School of Nursing is a pioneer in nursing education, with extensive research funding and a focus on health issues and health care improvement. It is ranked highly nationally and internationally for its programs and research. Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $27 per hour, depending on education and experience.
