Sports/Nerf Party Supervisor

The Sports/Nerf party supervisor will be responsible for leading games and activities for parties at the Community Pavilion for kids ages 6 - 12. Parties are only held on Saturdays and Sundays.

Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years of age. CPR/1st Aid certification required. Experience working with kids preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up games and activities in advance of the start of the party.
• Greet party host and assist as needed.
• Greet kids and talk to them about games/activities they'd like to play.
• Facilitate games and activities while kids are on the courts.
• Assist as needed when kids are in the party room for cake/presents.
• If safety goggles are used, sanitize after each use.

Physical Considerations

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, move for long periods of time.

Psychological Considerations

• Must have the ability to work a varied schedule as required.
• Must have the ability to work with staff and patrons in a relaxed and friendly manner.
• Must have the ability to use good judgment.

Physiological Consideration

• Ability to work well with general public.
• Ability to work well with minimal supervision and to produce accurate work on a timely basis.

Cognitive Considerations

• To work with fellow employees.
• To resolve differences fairly and with good judgment, in the best interests of the Oak Lawn Park District and our patrons.
• To understand and follow park district and Pavilion policies.
• To react well during emergency situations.
