What you will be doing:

The Social Media Manager is a key member of the brand marketing team focused on driving brand awareness and engagement through the effective implementation of content strategies on social media platforms. You will expand the brand’s social media community through creative campaigns that drive affinity, build awareness and ultimately consumer loyalty. In partnership with brand team, you will design and implement, social media strategies, set objectives, scorecard and report out on results.

As the voice of brand, this role will be responsible for post, crafting original content (text, video, etc), messaging, copywriting, calendar scheduling, community engagement and replies. Have creative writing skills and have a finger on the pulse of culture trends in order to build and implement outstanding content. Pay close attention to emerging social media and digital trends and be able to quickly apply takeaways and trends to the respective brands in a rapidly evolving industry.

This role will work in close collaboration with Brand Marketing, Digital, Creative, as well as with third party agencies and vendors with a dedicated focus on driving organic growth, personalization at scale and deeper brand preference and engagement.

  • Collaborate with brand and digital teams on the development of content strategy that supports brand marketing initiatives across channels and platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement, and sales while crafting a positive customer experience.

  • Build and implement content marketing plan and calendar to support brand community development

  • Craft and implement campaign communication strategies

  • Oversea social media account design (ex profiles, layout, etc) and daily management

  • Identify and recommend new features to support goals and strategies

  • Curate content for social in collaboration with the creative and brand marketing teams.

  • Ensure the beauty brands’ content is consistent with brand persona, equity, style, tone, and quality standards.

  • Generate, edit, publish and share content daily

  • Serve as the voice of the brand on social media platforms – engage and reply to community members. Post and engage in conversation on behalf of brand

  • Collaborate with agency partners (when needed) and internal team to evolve the content strategies to accelerate improvement and continuously optimize.

  • Use social media reporting data to measure content performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve results and the customer experience

  • Proactively monitor performance and find opportunities to improve performance

  • Report key success metrics to partners (brand/agency, etc.) Regarding platform performance, opportunities, and project status.

  • Establish clear and stretch KPI's and performance metrics.

  • Handle creative and agency relationships to ensure all services are being improved.

  • Collaborate with brand, digital, creative and agency teams for calendar and initiative/campaign alignment

  • Serve as brand key point of contact for all social media efforts

  • Promote and facilitate ongoing learning of team members, collaborators, and partners- stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, applications.

Skills needed to be successful in this role:

  • Effective relationship and interpersonal skills that support the advancement of brand efforts.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, time, and project management skills.

  • Attention to detail and excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in marketing/digital marketing/business or related subject.

  • 3+ years of experience in social media marketing, content management or similar in beauty, or relevant/adjacent industry.

  • Proven current work experience as social media manager, community manager or similar. Hands on experience.

  • Deep knowledge of online marketing channels.

  • Proven ability to deliver creative content (video, image, text, etc) that is on brand and effective.

  • Hands on experience in content management.

  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword search, google analytics, etc and the role of SEOkeywords for SEO copywriting, content optimization, search marketing and social media.

  • Excellent storytelling skills and strong copywriting skills.

  • Strong proofreading and editing skills are required for the role.

  • Skilled at presenting ideas and content improvements with research-based recommendations

  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and develop creative content solutions.

  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis
