Senior Software Engineer - Venture-Backed B2B SaaS (Series A)

Bay Area-Based | Hybrid

As a well-funded Series A startup ($18M raised from top-tier VCs including Bessemer and CRV), they're transforming how contractors and suppliers interact in this massive market. What You Will Do

• Drive significant technical contributions that directly impact thousands of users in the building materials space
• Architect and implement scalable solutions that enhance team velocity and system reliability
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and customers to shape product direction
• Mentor fellow engineers and help establish engineering best practices
• Work with modern technologies including Go, TypeScript, and React

Ideal Candidate Background

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with at least two of: Go, TypeScript, or React
• Track record of shipping production code in fast-paced environments
• Startup experience preferred, particularly in early to growth-stage companies
• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for collaborative problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with B2B SaaS products
• Background in building scalable systems
• Interest in modernizing traditional industries
• Passion for creating excellent user experiences

Compensation & Benefits

• Highly competitive base salary ranging from $175K - $243K based on level
• Meaningful equity ownership (0.017% - 0.31% based on level)
