As a Security Officer - Experience Required in PHOENIX, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service to all visitors and employees. By remaining attentive and approachable at the front desk, you help to deter security-related incidents while embodying our company's core values of reliability, caring, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Greet visitors and employees in a professional and courteous manner at the front desk of the financial institution.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and issuing visitor badges in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain logs and records of daily activities, visitor check-ins, and other security-related documentation as required.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or site personnel regarding security-related concerns or emergencies.
• Follow emergency response protocols as directed for the location, including notifying authorities when appropriate.
• Provide customer service by addressing questions or concerns from employees, clients, and visitors.
• Help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas by maintaining a visible presence at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
