Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid SLP-CCC certification and active Tennessee SLP license to provide services in a K-12 setting. This role supports both school sites and community locations, focusing on PreK programs to enhance communication skills and development in young learners. The position offers a full school-year assignment starting in August 2025 through May 2026.

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract duration: August 5, 2025 May 22, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language assessments and interventions for students from PreK through grade 12.
  • Provide therapy services at school sites and perform outreach in community settings.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Active Tennessee Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Experience working within school systems preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff.
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently and maintain accurate records.
