Overview:

We're looking for a capable, courteous Reservations Agent. You will be required to answer telephone inquires in a friendly and courteous manner, employ sales techniques in order to secure and process reservations for guest accommodations in a timely manner consistent with Pyramid Hotel Group's high standards of quality.

Your Role:

• Answer all incoming calls in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.
• Create memorable experiences with a warm, welcoming personality that can relate to guests and associates.
• Share your personal passions and knowledge of the services, amenities, facilities, hours of operation, and the local area and attractions with our guests get them excited about their visit.
• Engage the guests to understand their preferences and book room reservations while focusing on maximizing room revenue and average rate using standard rate quoting scenario at all times.
• Up sell rooms when possible.
• Collaborate with the Sales Department concerning group bookings.
• Act as the initial guide for the guest and their experience.
• Utilize the freedom to go beyond to take initiative to resolve guest complaints and create loyalty.
• Multi-tasking at a fast pace while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Compensation:

$17.00 an hour

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• An outgoing and engaging personality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent typing skills and the ability to hold a phone or operate a phone headset while operating a computer required
• Excellent listening skills and a high attention to detail
• The ability to sit for long periods of time.

Compensation Range:
The compensation for this position is $17.00/Hr. - $17.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience. Skamania Lodge
