PIRE has a significant national presence in the area of applied science, with funded research projects at its centers on prevention, treatment, and policy research. PIRE scientists and practitioners continually focus on the design and implementation of complex program evaluation strategies and the conduct of research related to health and social issues, and criminal justice. PIRE practitioners and scientists provide training and technical assistance in many health-related areas to states and communities that are attempting to improve public health.
Position Summary
We are seeking to hire actors for temporary part-time secret shopper/observer companion work on a research study we will be conducting during May, June, and possibly July of 2024 in the greater San Francisco Bay Area (no relocation). Secret shoppers/Observer companions (Research Assistant II) will work approximately 12-16 hours per week during the study period. These positions will work under the direction of our professional research staff. The hourly rate for this part-time temporary position is $30 per hour.
The sites are scattered throughout the 9 Bay Area counties, mainly in most populated areas (SF, San Jose, East Bay) with fewer in the more distant towns e.g., Sonoma, Napa, and Solano counties.
