Job Description

Real Estate Transaction Analyst

We are looking for a Real Estate Transaction Analyst to support the planning, development, implementation, and ongoing delivery of Corporate Real Estate (CRE) initiatives and programs to support a consistent and exceptional employee experience. Delivers specific operational processes as part of ongoing operational management of the CRE specialization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing solutions and making recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
  • Providing advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of solutions.
  • Identifying emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.
  • Monitoring and tracking performance on applicable indicators, and addressing any issues.
  • Supporting the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Breaking down strategic problems, and analyzing data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Conducting independent analysis to resolve strategic issues.
  • Participating in setting communication strategy designed to positively influence or change behavior; developing tailored messaging; and identifying appropriate distribution channels.
  • Providing input into the planning and implementation of operational programs.
  • Analyzing data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Gathering and formatting data into regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
  • Building effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Networking with industry contacts to gather and identify competitive insights and best practices.
  • Providing input into the planning and implementation of programs and solutions and executing within applicable service level agreements and standards.
  • Supporting the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting change management of varying scope and type; tasks typically focused on execution and sustainment activities.
  • Supporting the development of tailored messaging, which may include writing, editing, and distributing communications.
  • Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.
  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
  • Works independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Typically between 3 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Solid understanding of contract management and outsourcing agreements.
  • In-depth knowledge of complex financial analysis and modeling.
  • Knowledge of facilities and property management industry and practices.
  • Experience with business process improvements.
  • Experience managing compliance with real estate-related regulatory requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of a bank's line-of-business structure and accounting systems.
  • Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.
  • Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.

Salary: $57,500.00 - $106,500.00 Pay Type: Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Group's pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position. BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards. BMO also offers health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
