Project Engineer

Project Engineer
Salary: $65K-$80K (salary depends on experience)
Location: Indianapolis, IN 

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to oversee and manage engineering projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in coordinating project activities, ensuring compliance with specifications, and interfacing with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, and subcontractor agreements.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in budget modifications and financial tracking of projects.
• Support the Assistant Project Manager in daily project operations and reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer in construction or healthcare projects, or Co ops or internships
• Strong understanding of project documentation, change orders, and RFIs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
