OTR Owner Operator Class A Driver at Clean Harbors summary:

The OTR Owner Operator Class A Driver transports hazardous and non-hazardous waste across long distances, averaging 2700-3000 miles weekly from El Dorado, AR to Bristol, CT and other locations. Responsibilities include operating tractor-trailer units safely, ensuring proper load handling, complying with DOT regulations, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role requires a Class A CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements and emphasizes health and safety as top priorities within a supportive work environment.

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in El Dorado, AR. This route runs from El Dorado to Bristol CT. and other areas as needed (FLEX) Averages 2700-3000 miles per week.

• Average $200-250K per year
• Bi-Weekly home time
• Compensation package includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• 12+ months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
