Position Title:
Operations Manager (Director of Operations - New Business Manager Track)
Position Summary:
The Operations Manager is a pivotal, hands-on leader responsible for ensuring operational excellence
across the firm while driving the new business onboarding process. This is not just a supervisory role —we expect an active participant who rolls up their sleeves, builds and refines systems, and ensures tasks
are executed with accuracy, timeliness, and excellence.
Reporting directly to the COO (and CEO and Department Directors), the Operations Manager will
oversee daily workflows, manage and optimize internal processes, and act as the connective tissue
between advisors, client service associates, and leadership. Success in this role will be measured by a
combination of efficiency, client experience, and the ability to communicate and lead team members
and support and scale the firm’s growth.
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight: Lead and manage all operational processes, including account openings,
transfers, trading workflows, and client service initiatives. Oversee scheduling and tracking of
client reviews for CEO and other advisors, ensuring that all clients are seen regularly and on
schedule.
New Business Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for new client onboarding,
ensuring seamless execution and a white-glove experience.
Process Development: Identify inefficiencies, create new workflows, and implement best
practices to improve accuracy, speed, and scalability.
Collaboration: Partner with the COO, CEO, and department leads to ensure firm-wide initiatives
are executed on time and aligned with strategic goals.
Culture and Engagement: Model Stonebridge’s values by fostering a culture of ownership,
accountability, and proactive engagement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education and Licensing: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field preferred
Experience: 3+ years in financial services operations, preferably in a wealth management or RIA
environment.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in CRM, custodian platforms, and workflow management
systems.
Soft Skills: Exceptional management and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability
to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment.
Cultural Fit: A proactive doer, collaborative teammate, and process builder who is energized by
firm growth and client success.
Success Metrics and Growth Path:
This role is designed as a proving ground for future advancement. High performers who demonstrate
mastery of operations and cultural alignment will be on track to evolve into a Director of Operations and
New Business Manager role, with expanded leadership responsibilities.
Physical Requirements:
