POSITION SUMMARY We are looking for night owls who love to clean and work independently. Prior cleaning experience, preferred. A valid driver's license is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES - Provide clean and sanitary restrooms, halls, lobbies and dining areas, scrub and sanitize urinals, toilets, stalls, sinks, walls and mop floors in restrooms
- Vacuum floors, hallways, lobbies, landings, stairways, elevators, and dining areas and mop per schedule
- Empty trash in restrooms and lobbies, shine and clean all chrome and stainless fixtures
- Clean all windows and sills of prints, dust and bugs
- Clean areas including kitchen floors, storage rooms, dish areas, mop rooms and some equipment
- This position has security responsibilities and will manage keys or key cards in order to securely unlock and lock the buildings and various venues
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Must work well under own supervision
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Prior cleaning experience, preferred
- Safe lifting skills required
- Work with and understand usage of chemical cleaners and solvents in a safe manner
- Adhere to all safety policies
- Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp Service Excellence standards
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS - High School diploma or GED
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range: Starting at $20.50 per hour

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, hear, and operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
- Safely lift approximately 30-50 pounds on a recurring basis
- Walk, bend and stand for long periods of time on a recurring basis
- Climb stairs while carrying vacuum cleaner and other supplies on a recurring basis
- Must have a valid driver's license and meet insurability standards
- Position is from 3pm to 11pm
WORKING CONDITIONS Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to harsh and varying outside weather conditions.
Hazardous Materials/Noise: The noise level in the workplace is usually moderate.
