Duration : 12+ Months Contract

Max Pay : $45/hr to $47.41/hr on W2

Job Description :


This position is for a mechanical engineer to provide engineering support for elevator components.


The engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining product integrity, evaluating opportunities, integrating new component designs into existing systems and addressing turn backs while working to meet agreed upon cost and schedule commitments.

Typical responsibilities include structural calculations and analysis, component design, cost analysis, test and documentation of a wide range of elevator components. The candidate should have a strong background in mechanical engineering, a good understanding of the manufacturing process and the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.

Required Skill Set :

• Time management skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Strong mechanical engineering background
• Component, system modeling and design with Creo (Pro Engineer) or similar software
• Mechanical structural calculations including Mathcad or similar software
• Mechanical structural analysis including Ansys or other FEA Software
• Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Proficiency working in product development process
• Proficiency in using PLM/PDM system capable of storing documentation
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes

Education Qualification :
BS degree in mechanical engineering with 3+ year experience
MA/MS degree with 1 to 3+ year experience
