Maths Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary role from January 2026 This secondary school provides a calm and purposeful learning environment where pupils are supported to achieve their best. Duties as Maths Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 Prepare students for assessments and examinations, including GCSE Maths Use a range of teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment Contribute to the development of the maths curriculum and resources Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular learning and school initiatives Ideal Maths Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential Experience teaching maths in a secondary school setting Strong subject knowledge and passion for mathematics education Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities Excellent classroom management and communication skills Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Willingness to contribute to the wider school community Why Step Teachers?
