Job Description

HR Assistant

LHH Recruitment is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support the human resources department of a reputable company based in Tempe, AZ. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, a passion for HR processes, and experience handling I-9 documentation. After a successful training period, this position transitions to a hybrid schedule. This role is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with onboarding processes, including I-9 verification and compliance
  • Maintain employee records and update HR databases
  • Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
  • Help coordinate employee engagement activities and internal communications
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support the HR team

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have experience with I-9 verification and compliance
  • Previous experience in an HR support or administrative role preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
