We are looking for a hotel General Manager – someone who’s an inspiring leader who is operationally well-versed in all functions of the hotel and places the brand at the heart of all decisions , while delivering superior return on investment for the owner .
As the General Manager, you will work with the owner as a partner and manage every part of the hotel through close involvement in all operations, keeping things simple and making operations effortless and uncomplicated. You will monitor service standards to ensure that a ll service s (incl uding outsourced services) meet brand standards and guest expectations while improving safety , secu rity and energy conservation. You will establish clear performance goals for employees, provide regular feedback and provide hands-on coaching and support, leading the team by wo rking directly with them in an approachable way.
Acting as a Brand Ambassador, you will place the brand at the center of all communications, marketing initiatives and action s . You will take an active role in sales generat ing business and make use of market knowledge and social media to provide clear direction on Sales and Marketing and revenue strategies. Working with financial spreadsheets, you will make budgeting and forecasting decisions and review rates to increase revenue, profitability and maximum return on investment for your hotel owner ’s equity.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Hotel Administration or Business Administration.
