Fullstack Engineer AI x Video | $30M-Funded Stealth Startup

Hybrid - 4 days a week onsite , SF City or Sunnyvale

Up to $230,000 + equiry

• Apple Watch integrations for on-the-go notifications

The Opportunity

The company is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to join its small but high-impact engineering team and own major parts of both the backend and frontend stack. This is an opportunity to build scalable systems, ship user-facing features, and contribute to new product capabilities from the ground up.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement backend APIs (Go or Python)
• Build and iterate on frontend interfaces (React, TypeScript)
• Collaborate with edge computing engineers to integrate AI models and hardware
• Ensure performance, observability, and reliability at scale
• Ship well-tested, high-quality features quickly and iteratively

The Team

The founding team are serial entrepreneurs and AI/robotics experts, with prior leadership roles at autonomous vehicle companies and multiple successful exits. The broader engineering team includes alumni from Google, Facebook, Lyft, Zoox, Microsoft, Stanford, Oxford, and Cornell . This is a mission-driven, execution-focused culture with deep technical roots and high communication standards.

• $150,000$230,000 + early equity
• Ownership across systems backend, frontend, and edge
• Rapid growth trajectory with greenfield opportunities
• High-caliber team and a product thats already used at scale
• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency with Go or Python
• Strong skills in React , TypeScript , and modern web tooling
• Experience with Postgres , Redis , and API design
• Bonus: familiarity with edge computing, infra-as-code (Pulumi), mobile (React Native), or video systems
• Excellent communication and strong team collaboration skills
• Worked in a company with strong engineering culture and done something meaningful
