Job Summary :

Assists the Food Pantry Specialist in obtaining and providing food at our Max Block Food Pantry and all satellite locations including outlying counties.

Minimum Qualifications :

Education: High School Diploma

Primary Job Functions:

• Interview and secure information on client’s social and financial factors to determine nature and degree of needs.
• Refer clients to other community and outreach organizations that may support needs.
• Purchase, order and authorize food for the pantry and complete documentation.
• Maintain documents and records for audits.
• Help distribute food to clients on pantry days.
• Set up and distribute food to clients at our satellite pantry’s including schools, daycares and outlying counties.
• Make food deliveries to our senior population
• Pick up donations from various location around town
• Complete other duties as assigned.
