Job Summary
We are seeking a Film and Media Arts Instructor/Production Assistant to join our team. In this position, you will support our film and media arts internship for high school youth. You will assist in all aspects of production and instruction, from assisting with equipment setup, and maintaining inventory to facilitating skill-based film and media arts education. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who loves to share their passion for filmmaking, working with youth, and creating content that matters. • Create and facilitate film and media arts curriculum
• Assist with production events, including the set up of lights, props, and other equipment
• Assist in post-production activities, including content management and editing
• Mentor emerging creatives

• High School Diploma + related training and education
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills through a portfolio of work
• Skills in one or more of the following artistic disciplines: film, photography, graphic design, animation
• Previous experience as a Production Assistant is preferred but not required
• Understanding of media production process, equipment, software applications, techniques, concepts, and terminology
• Strong communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience working with youth
