About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Early Childhood Education. The successful candidate will serve as the Chief Executive Officer, providing visionary leadership to advance the organization's mission. This role is pivotal in overseeing all aspects of the preschool's operations, including strategic planning, program development, financial management, fundraising, human resources, compliance, and community engagement. The Executive Director will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality early childhood education, fostering a safe and nurturing environment, and maintaining strong relationships with families, staff, donors, and community partners. A key focus of the role is on external engagement, including networking, advocacy, and fundraising, to secure support for the school and ensure its financial sustainability. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years' experience in early childhood education, nonprofit management, or a related leadership role is required, along with demonstrated experience in budget management, fundraising, grant writing, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in early childhood education, and proficiency in financial management, nonprofit administration, and compliance oversight. Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Fluency in the French language is highly preferred.
