Job Posting: Onsite Educational Interpreter (ASL) Location: Seattle, WA Company: Soliant Education Contract Duration: September 3, 2025 June 17, 2026 Openings: 2 Weekly Hours: 37.5 School Assignment: 1 school Position Type: 1:1 Interpreter for a student Caseload Age Group: School-age Pay Range: $40$55 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) Employment Type: Full-time, Contract Position Benefits Offered: Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Weekly Pay Licensure and Certification Requirements: Active National Licensure Minimum EIPA score of 4.0 EIPA of 4.0 and/or RID Certification with passing score on written exam required Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation for a student in an educational setting Facilitate effective communication between the student and school staff, including teachers and support personnel Interpret classroom instruction, peer interactions, and other school-related communication Collaborate with educational team members to support the students academic and social success Maintain professional standards and confidentiality in all interactions Comply with school district policies and state/federal laws regarding educational interpreting Requirements: Strong proficiency in ASL and English Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a school environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Reliability and commitment to the full school-year contract Previous experience working in educational settings preferred Apply NOW!
