Travel Cardiovascular Operating Room Tech (CVOR Tech) Job in Pittsburgh, PA
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician (CVOR Tech) to join our dynamic team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a CVOR Tech, you will play a vital role in the surgical team by providing assistance in the operating room during cardiovascular procedures. You will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that all surgical instruments and equipment are ready, and that patient care is optimal.
Qualifications :
Valid Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Technologist in Surgery certification.
Experience as a CVOR Tech or in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and the associated instrumentation.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Travel Assignment Details:
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: Typically, 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension
Shift: Varied shifts, including on-call or weekend duties as necessary
