Overview Join to apply for the customer framing role at Michaels Stores in Cupertino, CA (Store - S.JOS-CUPERTINO). Build customer relationships while creating a memorable framing solution for art. Help customers shop the store and find what they are looking for in a safe, clean, and clutter-free environment. Responsibilities Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards Assist customers by using the framing process to build relationships and provide Custom Framing solutions; deliver sales and production results Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they are looking for Support shrink and safety programs Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; promote the organization’s values; set a positive example Participate in truck unload and stocking processes to ensure truck standards are followed and completed within budget Operate cash register and handle cash to standards Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions Assist with Omni channel processes Minimum Qualifications Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter Preferred Experience Retail experience Experience selling products and/or services to customers Physical Requirements Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching Ability to move throughout the store Ability to remain standing for long periods Lifting heavy boxes and frames; accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment If accommodations are needed, contact supervisor to engage in the interactive process Work Environment Public retail store setting; climate-controlled public areas; some stockrooms may not be climate controlled; some outdoor work if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or unload trucks Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings Compensation Total Base Pay Range For This Position: $19.25 - $22.60 Equal Opportunity Employer Michaels is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
