ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Apply and analyze cost standards for materials and labor.
• Design and implement cost accounting processes and controls.
• Analyze and collect data to determine cost standards.
• Prepare and analyze production costs and recommend changes.
• Conduct special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control, and action.
• Conduct periodic reviews of standard costs, work closely with operations to resolve errors and make recommendations.
• Assist in the month-end close of the general ledger.
• Run ad hoc reports as requested, and perform financial analysis as needed.
• Assist with ongoing ERP implementation and system enhancements.

EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, AND PROFICIENCIES :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business, or equivalent.
• 5 Years of experience in a manufacturing environment with ERP system utilization.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet productivity standards.
• Ability to recognize areas for improvement, and process optimization.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
• Strong problem solving, leadership, team building, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to articulate complex issues, plans, and concepts to diverse groups of people, including executive management.
• Work collaboratively across multiple teams.
