Job Description

JOB REQUIREMENTS Physical Ability— Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Work Schedules— Maintain availability to work a fluctuating schedule, based on business needs, which may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Education, Certification, or Licenses Preferred – High School Diploma or G.E.D. Equivalent preferred but not required. Proficiency in English (additional language required for certain positions). No related work experience required. Competencies – Personal Attributes: Dependability, Presentation, Positive Demeanor, Adaptability/ Flexibility, Stress Tolerance, Integrity, Multitasking Interpersonal Skills: Must possess a minimum of eighteen months Exchange/Travel experience. Must be computer literate and be proficient with iServices, AS400, Microsoft Office and its applications. Must possess excellent problem-solving skills. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills. Must be able to multiple tasks. Must possess initiative. Must be able to work weekends and Holidays. Must be able to work 8 Hour Shifts as required. Must be flexible as shifts can vary during scheduled shifts, weekend shifts and shift bids (from early to late shifts). Must use common sense and make sound decisions. Must be able to set priorities, manage time, and meet deadlines. Must possess excellent Customer Service Skills. Must possess the ability to create accurate, error free work. Must be a to work as a team with fellow peers. Communication: Listening, English Language Proficiency, Telephone Etiquette, Applied Reading Analytical Skills: Learning It is imperative to maintain open communication (Verbal and/or written) with fellow peers and management team. All glitches, examples of disservice or agent lack of knowledge should be reported immediately, always keep in mind the departments and company’s best interest. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Job Specific Duties) Answers any basic format questions in iServices an advisors may ask. Faxes last minute confirmations to members. Performs administrative duties such as writing reports, faxing, etc. Places units on hold for advisors requiring extended hold time. Assists Human Resources in booking employee confirmations via the employee waitlist, weekly during specified hours and on the weekends. Able to work chat via several chat environment. Provides assistance with special projects such as testing, updates and inbound calls etc. Performs other related duties as required. CommunicationCommunicate via telephone using appropriate etiquette. Use appropriate, and professional language. Talk with and listen to other employees to effectively exchange information. Provides assistance to coworkers, ensuring they understand their tasks. Ability to handle multiple systems simultaneously, along with proficiency in reading, writing and comprehension. Working With OthersSupport all coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect. Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments. Handle sensitive issues with employees and/or members with tact, respect, diplomacy, and confidentiality. Quality Assurance/Quality ImprovementComplies with quality assurance expectations and standards. Policies and ProceduresMaintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information. Ensure dress code, badges, and personal appearance are clean, hygienic, professional, and in compliance with company policies and procedures. Use of Computer, telephone, and other office equipment Stand Walk Sit Work a schedule that includes specific shifts and hours.
