Commercial Estimator

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Estimator to join a dynamic construction team specializing in commercial projects ranging from $1 million to $100 million . This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering accurate, competitive bids that drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including design-build and construction management contracts.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate scope and pricing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and assist in value engineering efforts.
• Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure estimates remain competitive and current.
• Assist in bid strategy development and proposal preparation.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Proven track record of estimating projects in the $1M-$100M range.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Sage Estimating, ProEst, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
