The selected candidate will be supporting a multi-tiered high-availability Citrix infrastructure that is geographically distributed with a highly mobile work force. The candidate will have a very strong background in Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, XenServer, XenMobile and Microsoft Windows Server technologies, possessing the skills to work in a mission-critical, multi-site enterprise environment. Looking for candidate with hands on experience with implementing and managing AppSense. In varying capacities this person will also participate in the support a range of virtualization products including but not limited to Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, XenServer, XenMobile, Provisioning Services, Microsoft Application Virtualization and various related and unrelated subsystems necessary to support an enterprise virtual desktop and application delivery environment. Looking for some that is self-motivated and able to work with minimal hand holding. Required Skills 4+ years' Experience managing and maintaining Citrix XenApp 6.5 and XenServer 6.2 and above 4+ years' Experience implementing, managing and using AppSense 4+ years' Experience managing and using PowerShell scripts to administer servers and desktops. 4+ years' Experience creating, managing, and deploying Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and associated custom GPO templates for the virtual environment. 4+ years' Experience monitoring and enforcing organizational IT security policies and processes including change management processes. Must be familiar with industry standards, available technologies and both security & system best practices. 4+ years' Experience ensuring that platform patch management and antivirus services are kept current. 4+ years' Experience installing, testing, evaluating and integrating various applications and 3rd party solutions into the virtual architecture. 4+ years' Experience in troubleshooting network and/or system issues. Possess a thorough understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems, core services, applications and technologies. Desired Skills Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE) strongly desired. 4+ years' Experience with Linux is a plus (To better understand hypervisor and BSD based devices) 4+ years' Experience with Citrix XenServer and/or HyperV, VMware ESX is a plus. 4+ years' Experience with Desktop VDI Environments such as Citrix XenDesktop 5.6/7 or VMware View is a plus. 4+ years' Experience with administration and monitoring Citrix NetScaler devices in the support of Citrix Access Gateway, Reverse Proxy and SSLVPN implementation. 4+ years' Experience with virtualizing applications and deployment (App-V). 4+ years' Experience with AppSense, RES - Automation Manager and Altiris Automation. 4+ years' Experience with HP Blade and related hardware maintenance.
