About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the development and maintenance of a robust, enterprise-wide information security and risk management program. The CISO will be responsible for ensuring the protection of information assets, identifying and managing security risks, and meeting compliance and regulatory requirements. This executive role demands a visionary leader with a strong background in business management and a deep understanding of information security technologies. The CISO will work proactively with various business functions to implement security practices, oversee IT-related risk management activities, and provide guidance for business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Candidates for the CISO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience, with at least 10 years in enterprise information technology security. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading security programs, particularly within highly regulated, technology-driven environments. Key qualifications include excellent executive presence, strong business acumen, and the ability to communicate security and risk concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. The CISO will be expected to have a high level of knowledge in risk management, network and system security, and security implementation, as well as experience with relevant security frameworks and regulations. A self-starter with a can-do attitude, the CISO should be adept at building and leading high-performing teams, and be skilled in strategic planning, budgeting, and project management.
