Job Description

Accounting/HR Office Assistant Full-Time | On-Site | Small Business Team Environment Are you an organized multitasker with a passion for keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Office Assistant to support our Accounting and HR teams in a fast-paced, small business environment. If you’re someone who thrives on variety, enjoys learning new skills, and can balance structure with flexibility — we’d love to meet you! What You’ll Be Doing: Provide day-to-day support to the Accounting and HR departments Manage, scan, and file important documents — both electronically and physically Assist with new hire onboarding and employee documentation Enter invoices and credit card transactions into our accounting system Record bank deposits (ACH and checks) in QuickBooks Coordinate with staff on insurance, state taxes, and Department of Labor reporting Arrange staff travel — occasionally after hours Handle general office admin tasks like ordering supplies and coordinating maintenance for office equipment Pitch in on special projects and jump in where needed What We’re Looking For: Comfortable with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel) and working with PDFs Some experience with QuickBooks Enterprise is great — but we’ll train the right person!
